Online pre-registration closes at 11:59 pm on Thursday, July 18th. Early signup is encouraged! We will be capping competitors at 125. Day-of registration will only be offered as long as we have available spots.

Pre-registration:
$50 • Member competition and dance party admission
$60 • Non-member competition and dance party admission

We have parking at the gym and in overflow lot areas. Signage and clear direction will be provided day-of. Please carpool, if you can.

Basic Schedule

1pm — Gym opens for check-in + warm-up
2-6pm — All divisions compete
6pm — All scorecards MUST be turned in at the front desk
6:15-7:30pm — Dyno competition
8pm — Awards
8:30pm — Dance Party begins

🍕 Food

We have Zeppa’s Pizza, Coffee Matter iced beverages, snacks and other refreshments for purchase at our Snack Bar. There are also local beers on tap for spectator enjoyment (or when you’re done climbing)!

Beer consumption is limited to our Mezzanine and mid-floor viewing areas.

Beer is for post-climbing or spectator consumption only. Consumption is limited to designated areas of the gym. The State of Maine requires carding anyone who appears to be younger than 27. We reserve the right to card anyone.

Classic Cheese: The classic NY cheese pie. Zeppa’s homemade pizza dough with their signature sauce, shredded mozzarella, finished off with a touch of fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and olive oil.
Pepperoni: Zeppa’s classic cheese pie topped with cup and char pepperoni.
Veggie: Our signature classic cheese pie topped with spinach and green pepper.
Pizza sales will begin at 4 pm. Another 2 rounds will be purchased as the evening goes on. Check-in with the front desk for more details.

Our Mezzanine area provides great views to spectate from up-high!

Warm up in our training room or browse our curated retail shop. We have free wi-fi, family games and plenty of outlets for you to charge your phone and devices.

Ropes Area- Used to store your belongings and warm up
Training Room- weight + strength training equipment
Mezzanine- cardio equipment + hangout area
Snack Bar
Homeroom- registration and check in here
Yoga Room- quiet space if you need a break from the crowds and noise
3 Unisex Restrooms- for restroom + changing
We’re located 10 minutes away from a small downtown area with shops, lodging and restaurants.
Volta is situated on the coast between Acadia National Park and The Schoodic Peninsula. We’d love to share our local knowledge with you, and we have outdoor bouldering pads for rent ($15/day).

YOUTH 11-16
CLASSIC 17–49
MASTERS 50+
Classic division competitors will be sorted into four categories determined by where their final score lands among their division competitors:
NOVICE 0-25%
INTERMEDIATE 26-50%
ADVANCED 51-75%
OPEN 76-100%
*This is the only age division that will be sorted into categories. Youth Divisions and Masters will each be scored as a whole.

💥 Dyno Comp

6:15-7:30pm

Get ready to throw down! The Dyno comp will take place in our Bouldering area. Anyone who would like to compete may jump in (all ages).

Top three finishers in each division / category will receive prize packages. More details to come!

If you climb all the problems, you get a one-of-a-kind cash purse. Since no one completed all the problems last year, the pot is now at $400. 💸

+$200 will be added to the pot every year until someone sends them all!
